Revive the memories.

shopping! its been so long since i actually went out and shop. like literally go out to the shops in town and shop. ever since school started, all my shopping craves have been curb by online shopping. heh. so technically spending on shopping hasn't declined :\

since the usual gang decided not to club on halloween night, i decided to get a shopping fix with xin! met xin this afternoon at paya lebar to get my harddisk fixed first. it was dead after working for less than a month after i bought it in sept? and i havent found the time to actually head down all the way to paya lebar to actually get it repaired, until today. we went for a drive around paya lebar tho, cause xin's daddy decided to fetch us to the ulu place that we dont know how to get to,so we went round and round.
anw, after my harddisk was fixed, we headed off to our first stop - SMU's flea. oh yes, as usual, the forgetful G almost lost her harddisk. we got bbtea and snacks from raffles place shopping centre before heading off to the flea and i left my paper bag with my harddisk inside near chippys and happily left off. hahaha. only realised it was missing when i was shopping halfway through the flea. hurried back to chippys and fortunately it was still there, untouched. heh. good karma (:
when i got back to the flea, we met this really funny angmoh seller. i like her (: she gave us a free dress that looked more like a monk robe. i mean the colour actually. HAHA. but who cares, its free. in total, xin and i got 4 dresses for 25 bucks. good deal? heh.

then it was off to bugis(street). more shopping of course. but it was a bad dayyyy, it rained ):
it was so stuffy and humid over at bugis street. but we ought to be lucky it rained after 7. since we were both almost done for the day. i was alrd dying by then in my heels. hahas. super act cool,i know. and xin was in slippers? AND worse till, she was also complaining- totally deserve to be slapped. but i really dont wanna buy heels and not wear them at all. especially when wearing heels to school is so ridicuous. anw, it pays to be wearing nice heels. hee. 2 girls actually asked where i got my heels from. like random stranger - one from the flea and one over at bugis street (:
just in case my readers(i dunno who actually reads this anyhow) wanna know how my heels looked like :
pretty? no? hahas. in any case, there's no such thing as comfy heels. there's a price to pay for every action. after 8 hours of non-stop walking, the arch can still kill. but i guess i just set a new personal best tolerance timing today. heh.

when i got home, i heard the worst news for the day ...
IVP's timing for 800m free's first 3 position was so easyyyyyy to hit :C:C:C
sigh, why didn't ntu asked me and xin to swim for IVP mannnnn. then we could have been able to get a space in hall for sure w/o doing anything else. super wasted.
very sad G now :|
and kinda hungry.

heading back to hall tmr again. why so fast ): i wanna stay home with my bed and just sleep all day. but exams are drawing close, needa get back into mugging mood asap. HOW? :\
i shall head off to date my biochem txtbk now...
