HK Day 3 + 4

finallyyyyy. its about time i complete my hk trip diary.
sorry if i bore you to death cause i'll be using the same pics as those on shar's blog! =x
even the content will be. i think. heh.

DAY 3
so anw, back to where i left off the last time. after our super tiring disneyland-day on day 2, we continued to show our youthful-ness (young pple have a lot of energy you see) by heading over to ocean park for more exhilarating rides and free sun-tanning(totally not planned). but before that, we recharged ourselves at pak hoi street - tsui wah restaurant. breakfast was always the most important meal of the day there cause we tend to have light lunch(s) at theme parks.

it was still gloomy in the morning and i thought it would be a rainy day yet again, just like how it was on day 2. but i was sosoSO wrong.

ohyes. shar can't stir her tea properly. hahaha! look at her cup!
the milktea in hk isn't like those in sg where the sugar's alrd included before they serve it to you. so we had to add whatever amount of sugar we need and mix it well before we get to drink it. and for two days straight, shar's cup looks like this - with milktea overflowing out. haha!
our very sumptuous meal :D

after breakfast, we headed back to the MTR so that we could take the public transport to get to OCEAN PARK ! :)
prior to day 3, summer warned us that it would be very very hot over at ocean park (and she only stayed there for 3 hours). so we were mentally prepared for a hothot day. but still, we didn't manage to tahan all the way. but we managed to stay there for a lil more than 6 hours. an achievement i guess? heh. cause the weather was so frigging HOT. waywayway hotter than sg. i felt like a melting ice popsicle there :\
oh and why we were so persistent on staying there for the whole day? same reason as it was for disneyland. entrance fee was another bomb. 225hkd (~40sgd) if i remembered correctly.

the park comprised of 2 parts. the summit and waterfront region. which technically is due to the geographical location of the park la. its pretty much built on a hill ? (actually, you can even see flats of houses on hills too) so if you can't build something on the equatorial position, you just have to do it laterally. hahas. and the hk contractors are pro at doing it i guess.
furthermore there's no way anyone can climb up and down the hill and enjoy the games at the same time, so there were many many LONGGGGGG escalators around the park.
happy us!
awesome view at the summit area.
we just walked around and played the rides in the park. explains the lack of pictures here. heh.

and through mid-day, we were so tired from the scotching hot sun and hungry. so we decided to sit down at the theater and catch a show! thats the pool for the superbly smart dolphins. didn't manage to take any pics during the show. too busy. heh.

after the show, we decided its time to head over to the waterfront area of the park to check out what entails for us there. we had to take this express train thingy, which was like a pseudo submarine 'train' that fetches us from the summit area to the waterfront area. cool much!

after we reached the waterfront station, we got off and walked around before settling at the main corner? to watch some acrobatic performance.
look at the goldfish! chubby cheek. just like me. hahaha!

after this photo, we took the express train back up to the summit area to finish up trying the rides that were closed in the morning.

us after the mine rollahcoaster!
we saw many pple holding this green coloured thingy ard the park the whole day but didn't want to buy it cause it was a lil overpriced. but with the crazy weather, we couldn't resist temptation and still gave in and bought a cup to share towards the end of the day. it was just H-E-A-V-E-N-L-Y!!
its some lime syrup blend thingy with cocktail in it. the first sip was mad good. ^^

after which, we took the bus back and headed over to mongkok for more shopping + BBT before ending the day.

we totally made use of the free internet over at the MTR since we found out about it on day 2! hahas.

DAY 4
we intended to make use of the rooftop pool over at the hotel in the morning on the last day, but we were so drained out after the crazy 3 days, both of us just snoozed our alarm clocks when it rang at 7. hahaha.
we woke up a lil later packed ,checked-out, collected our laopobings and left our luggages at the bellman(their version of bellboy) area before heading to the MTR to go over to central!

finally, we didn't have the same thing for breakfast again. hahas. but we settled for smth which we can find in sg -.- MACS.
shar ordered the norm meal while i decided to try their macaroni meal! not too bad. just too many peas. i had a hard time fighting the peas. :\

headed over to H&M after that and causeway bay for uniqlo for darryll's items before heading back! and H&M not cheap at all. but still manage to get a few good deals ;)

we were done early so we went back to jordon and settled dinner at tsui wah char chan teng again! hahas. this time round trying their other stuff other than breakfast.

then it was to the airport afterwhich. sad us :C
i miss hk.
hk was funnnnn! although i got sunburnt at my shoulders! i don't mind heading back there someday. during the cooler season tho. really can't stand the warm weather. :\

great! im doneeee. :D
but i've a lot of other things left uncompleted. like school work. procastination. sigh.
the next few weeks look bleak. weekends burnt by tuitions and weekdays - school + trainings + driving lesson. i needa catch up soon. stress :C
