Back at school

first day in school after such a fun week sucked. although i do feel really much more recharged compared to last term.
for the first time, vanessa and i actually paid attention and was super duper focused for our lecture this morning. and for the first time i didn't feel that lost in class. but, i'm pretty sure my 'battery-life' will die off pretty quickly. plus, i have a small pea brain which can't contain that much information la :C

shakuhachi lesson today was O.M.G-i-wanna-die. hahas. xin and i totally havent practice our shakuhachi for the past two weeks? and we were so lost in class mann. we just kept pretending that we were actually blowing the shakuhachi when in fact there's no sound coming out of it at all. just following the fingering mann. hahaha. jokers. felt so faint and hungry after class mann. and, i just hope i won't fail it.

i just realise, i have a love-hate rship with school. i love the people, the fun facts and information that we get out of education. but at the same time, i hate the test, quizzes and exams that we have to go through.
its ironical how the brain works. we only remember stuff when we're being forced too. and that often happens like what, two weeks before the exam? when suddenly you realise, i needa pass this shit and i really needa get my butt down on the chair and start memorizing the facts. and God knows what happen to the fun/good-to-know facts? it just ended up being a burden. but thankfully our brain do retain the interesting facts even after our exams, or at least partially i guess? here's and example of what i can rmb :vodka only has 38% and not 40%, the manufacturers just chose to round it up. HAHA. that's like the most interesting information i know now. (but i am not an alcoholic!!serious.) got this fact from my organic chem last sem. and the person who invented vodka? also the guy who invented the periodic table. cool huh? hahas.
